Goals

To develop AJK TEVTA into a well-structured, effective and sustainable training organization that will deliver national & international demand driven technical and vocational training to assist the sectors of economy, namely: agriculture, industry, services & commerce, as a supplier of graduates that shall meet the relevant manpower demands.

Mandate

  1. To provide and promote demand driven TVET training
  2. To strengthen and consolidate the existing TVET system
  3. To develop a dynamic linkage with employers/industry and other stakeholders
  4. To adopt the national competency standards endorsed by the NAVTTC and develop curricula accordingly for implementation
  5. To enhance the capacity of managerial, teaching and support staff
  6. To assess the workforce training needs in the context of domestic and global markets
  7. To assess and conduct examination and award of certificates and diplomas to public & private institutions
